After some great skidays in VT, I drove back to Chamonix on Sunday. The drive was 2 hours, and that was my doing that day. My legs were in for a long needed rest, and after hooking up with Hanna Kajsa, we decided to go ice climbing. Monday we drove to Cogne in Italy. We decided on a climb called Lillaz Gully, 200 m of broken up class 4 ice with a long snowy intro. Well, a long story short, we did two short pitches of ice, and concluded that the Italian meter is no more than 30 cm.
On Tuesday we did some short easy climbs in Argentiere.
